1.
Why should I buy an electric dog fence system?
Instead of constructing an expensive wooden or metal fence in the yard, use an electric dog fence system to contain your dog inside or outside your home. Aside from being less expensive, this kind of fence system allows you to train your dog to know his limitations.
2. Can I contain more than one
dog?
Yes. We have electric dog fence systems that provide the flexibility of containing more than one dog at the same time. Just buy additional collars for your other dogs.
3. What is an In-ground Dog Fencing
system?
Basically, there are three (3) parts in
an In-ground Dog Fencing system. These are
the Transmitter, Wire, and the Collar Receiver.
The Transmitter is plugged into a standard
outlet and sends out a radio signal to the
wire that is being buried and connected
to the transmitter that makes a boundary
to contain your dog. The collar receiver
is worn on your dog’s collar. While
the transmitter emits a radio signal that
travels through the wire, the receiver on
your dog’s collar picks up the radio
signal. It will then alert the dog as he
get near the boundary (buried wire). If
he still persists to go towards the boundary
wire, he will receive a correction from
the radio signal.
4. Is there other way that I can
contain my dog without burying the wire?
Yes. If you don’t like to bury the wires under the ground because of some reasons like you don’t have tools or you just renting your home, the wires use in "Underground Fencing Systems" can be set up using our Securing Staples. More information on how to do it, please see our Above Ground Installation page.
5. Are indoor zone fence systems
only to be used inside my home?
Our indoor zone fences are generally used inside the house because they are completely wireless. However, we have indoor electric dog fence units that can be used outdoors as long as you know that the range they operate will meet your needs.
